Williams Engineering

We are a country based agricultural machinery manufacturing business. We have been manufacturing quality, well designed, cost effective farm machinery for the past 30 years, specialising in the manufacture of effluent disposal systems and equipment.

In 1986, we first designed and developed the Elephant Tankers and Pond Stirrers.   More recently we began manufacturing Effluent Spider travelling irrigators, Pump Pontoons, Pond Stirrers, Stirrer Pumps, and Tractor Driven Pumping Units, all widely used by a range of clients from farmers to contractors.

The Williams Spider Irrigator range of travelling irrigators for spreading effluent, are designed specifically for trouble free, low maintenance operation. There are three models:

  • Williams Spider Irrigator - the standard efficient, low cost travelling irrigator.

  • Williams Spider Deluxe - for larger herds and high volume washing systems.

  • Williams Super Spider - a "super " model designed to handle large quantities of effluent or water pumped from units like the Williams High Pressure Pumping Trailer or large electric powered pumps. It has a large rotating gland with triple neoprene seals and totally enclosed precision bearings with a long life greasing system.

Key features of the range are:

  • Efficiency: Once you have pumped material to the end of the main line and drag hose, you don't need restrictions and bad plumbing to rob you of the remaining pressure!

  • Reliability: Constructed of lasting materials that need little maintenance.

  • Power Boom: An expansion chamber in the main rotor that illuminates a lot of power loss associated with water type irrigators with tees and sockets etc.

  • Power Tips: A conical nozzle designed to minimise power loss and blockages associated with "petrol cap" type nozzles. The Power Tips give the irrigator greater spread, without increasing rotor width.

  • Power Cam: This gives a smooth driving action with a very low power requirement, and without the maintenance expense associated with gearbox type drives.
