Shotover Marketing was established by Richard Matchett in 2007 and is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Originally from a sheep and beef farm in Northern Ireland – and an Honours graduate of the University of Edinburgh, Scotland – Richard is a fluent Dutch speaker has been based in the Netherlands since 1998 (following periods based in the UK and Czech Republic) and has recently lived and worked in Otago, New Zealand.

Richard has 10 years experience in Export Sales and Marketing Consultancy, and has previously worked with over 200 Small and Medium Enterprises – assisting client companies identify and grow sales throughout Europe . Richard previously worked in Export Sales for 2 manufacturers of agricultural machinery.

Richard's main sectors of expertise include agricultural & construction equipment, manufacturing & engineering and ‘hi-tech' industries in Ireland , the UK , Netherlands and Belgium . Richard has also worked with a number of clients in Scandinavian and Central European markets.
