Shoof International

Shoof International is an animal equipment company supplying a wide range of high quality products internationally. The product range includes:

  • Cattle Shoof:  A shoe-for-a-hoof used for the treatment of lameness in cattle.

  • Brand-A-Bull: Using Brand-a-Bull, freeze branding can be carried out anywhere, anytime on any number of animals. Brand-a-Bull uses a standard CO2 Cylinder to produce dry-ice from a special gun. The patented digit-mould is filled with the dry-ice and then applied to the animal as for traditional freeze branding.

  • Leg Mark-It: Developed over several years by a Matamata (NZ) dairy farmer, Mark-Its are the easiest of all leg straps to use, and are the most visible on the cow. The protruding end of the Mark-It is like a flag waving on the cow's leg. The Mark-It is removed simply by pressing the release button!

  • Calf Feed Bottles: Easy Feeder and Speedy Feeder calf bottles

  • Easy Drencher: The bottle to use for safe and easy administration of all liquid drenches in cattle and other animals.

  • Daisy-Lifter: A cow sling designed for medium to long-term support for a down cow. The cow is supported over a large body area, thus reducing pressure points. Fully adjustable to any size animal, and manufactured from long life materials. The Daisy-Lifter is supplied as a complete kit in a handy carry-bag. Just add front end loader!

  • QuarterMilker:   Just disconnect the appropriate liner from the claw, and connect the QuarterMilker to isolate one quarter of the cow's milk from the other three quarters in cases of high somatic cell-count, mastitis, haemorrhage or colostrum contamination.

  • Vet Rope: Specially manufactured for Shoof International Ltd. Vet-rope is soft and safe. Made of 24mm diameter marine grade polyester, it flattens out when wrapped around a limb. Will not cut, burn or chafe. Will not rot. Gets better with every wash (cold water). Length 2.5m o.a. Eye Splice one end. Also available in 5m and 9m lengths, with eye-splices both ends. White or royal blue.

  • Hoofmat: A hoof treatment mat that replaces the traditional foot bath.
