Our company, which was founded in 1979, specialises in the development of trade in agritechnology from New Zealand and Australia to clients principally in South America. Our speciality is to look for and supply specialty products and equipment for animal production from a pasture base. We will supply the goods, and arrange sea or air freight to our clients.

New Zealand is well known as the world leader in animal production from a pasture base (without the requirement of concentrates). Our core business is the transfer of technology, and the sale of the necessary inputs to develop animal grazing systems in South America (production from pasture rather than production from grains and concentrates – extensive production as opposed to animal confinement). We are promoting an efficient, cost effective system of animal production, which will allow a greater profit to the farmer from his production of milk, meat and wool.

We have also been instrumental in developing systems to assist sheep farmers to improve their returns during times of low prices by assisting in increasing production, or improving the quality of production. We are doing this partially by introducing new, highly productive genetics, and also by improving the marketing of the available products in the local and export markets. We have also been involved in the introduction of improved genetics in the beef, dairy and the milking goat industry, and in introducing new veterinary products to assist farmers maintain high levels of animal health.

One of the best ways to demonstrate the opportunities provided by our technology is to visit to see the technology being used commercially on New Zealand farms. Therefore our company will assist clients to arrange visits for groups or individuals to see specific activities or New Zealand agriculture in general.

We are the largest, and longest serving providers of New Zealand’s agricultural technology and expertise into the South American markets.

Our managing director, who actively farms deer, sheep and cattle, has visited South America regularly over a period of some 20 years. Through these visits he has met, and made contact with a diverse range of business and farming people throughout the South American continent. He is also a director of NZ Agritech Inc, and the Honorary Consul for Chile in Auckland, New Zealand.
